The QDRO process involves several layers of approval, including signatures by the parties, the judge, and final acceptance by the plan administrator. Even simple plans can encounter unexpected delays. Without legal guidance, navigating these steps can be frustrating and overwhelming.

We are not a form service. We are a Florida-based family law firm. When you work with us, you receive legal advice, skilled drafting, and attentive service throughout the process. Our QDRO preparation services range from $800 to $1,200 per account, and we proudly offer discounts for military personnel, veterans, first responders, teachers, government employees, and clients with multiple QDROs.

What Our Flat Fee Covers

  • Legal advice on Florida law related to dividing retirement assets
  • Assistance with incorporating appropriate language into your divorce judgment (if contacted early)

  • Preparation of any plan-required applications or forms
  • Filing the order with the court and obtaining certified copies
  • Final delivery of the approved order to the plan for implementation
